What a week!
Wow some crazy stuff happened this week, both nationally and here in my town... so I thought I would devote some time to this last week and some of it's insanity...
First of all- after taking such a big running start, following by dissapointing finishes in all of the primaries to date, Mr. Howard Dean has declared that he "will no longer being pursuing the Democratic nomination for president". Aww, poor thing... :( but here's the thing... I almost- ALMOST- feel kind of sorry for him... I know, I know, he's an evil democrat, but I guess that's just the way I am, I'm too quick to feel sorry for people... lol. But also, I will miss his antics, and it would have been funny seeing him go head-to-head against George W. Bush... but I guess now we'll never know... :)
American Idol- currently one of my favorite shows- has already turned out a star, and he didn't even make it past the first round! William Hung (I think that's his last name), the guy who brought Ricky Martin to a new level by singing- and dancing to- "She Bangs"- horribly- has become an icon in himself, by performing at basketball games and such. This guy was HORRIBLE! And what's more, he has even been offered a $25,000 record deal! But he was entertaining, I have to admit, and when Simon told him that he was bad, he took it very well, not by crying or yelling back at Simon, but by saying, "I did my best, and I have no regrets." What a guy...
